bail out plan that's right out of FDR. His Treasury Secretary presents

expensive, flawed and a grab for executive power. (Sounds like
Iraq, the Patriot Act all over again.) The President get the Democrats
to buy in. A deal is close.
Then the Republican presidential candidate shows up for a photo opportunity. And voila, the Republican right throws a curveball, one they never discussed at public hearings. Discussions collapse. Stock markets crash. One of America's largest banks fail overnight. The way we see it, Congress is paid to do America's business and its time to get to it.
